Our Approach

A Barcoding solution is never just a piece of hardware: This is the heart of Barcoding’s Process, People, Technology (PPT) philosophy.

First, we work to understand our clients’ businesses—their workflows, people, cultures, and goals—and then we discuss the types of technology available to fit their needs.

Our Partner Network

Barcoding, Inc. is a premier partner with the best manufacturers and software providers in the automated data capture, mobility, and supply chain spaces. Because of our strong relationships, our clients have access to high-level resources at our partners’ organizations—from the executive teams to sales, engineers, and support.

Barcoding is committed to helping our community in impactful ways. From supporting local organizations and events to sponsoring well-deserved charitable efforts, it is our goal to give back in a meaningful way.

Spearheaded by the passionate #SupplyChainGeeks from our team, we partnered with Reading Partners of Baltimore to inspire young minds to indulge in adventures, learning and whimsy through the magic of stories. Reading Partners is a national non-profit that mobilizes communities to provide students with the proven, individualized reading support they need to read at grade level by fourth grade.

Throughout the summer of 2023, Barcoding has partnered with Reading Partners to empower Baltimore children to support building their own home libraries, leading them to the right path of reading and helping them with their future school years.

Throughout our book drive, we were able to accomplish:

  • 1,426 books were collected in total
  • 227.9 pounds (300 books) of books were donated by Penguin Random House
  • $2,175 dollars raised to purchase the books!

Last year, employees and partners collected over 450 new and gently used books to help inspire K–4th graders to achieve their reading capabilities and fill their classrooms, homes, and imaginations.

This year, we tripled that number thanks to the efforts of passionate Barcoding staff, partners, and customers such as Penguin Random House. We can never underestimate the impact of stories and we hope our contributions will continue to help the young minds of Baltimore City grow.

PRH_logo_primary1-1"Penguin Random House is happy to support your book drive and wish all the young readers well! Happy Reading!

If you want to get involved with Reading Partners, you have the opportunity to volunteer for the 2023-2024 school year and/or donate today!

"Some people let it happen, some people watch it happen but the best, MAKE IT HAPPEN! Tami Adams is the BEST. Well done, Tami…your energy and commitment are fuel for positive change.
—Shane Snyder, President, Barcoding, Inc.

Special thanks to Tami Adams for all your efforts in organizing the book drive with Reading Partners.

"This is our second partnering with the Reading Partners of Baltimore. The support from the employees at Barcoding was just amazing. I enjoyed searching, collecting the books, and celebrating each milestone we achieve, the smiles are never-ending. There is nothing like a good book to take you away, no matter what your age. We are giving the children the opportunity to dream, learn and have their imaginations inspire them. Each book is special in its own way just like the children. Again, one’s imagination is a terrible thing to waste. Get reading and dream big!"
—Tami Adams, Sales Support Specialist, Barcoding, Inc.

While our book drive has come to an end, the love of reading must carry on! Find out how you can carry the torch from Reading Partners of Baltimore!
