Our Approach

A Barcoding solution is never just a piece of hardware: This is the heart of Barcoding’s Process, People, Technology (PPT) philosophy.

First, we work to understand our clients’ businesses—their workflows, people, cultures, and goals—and then we discuss the types of technology available to fit their needs.

Our Partner Network

Barcoding, Inc. is a premier partner with the best manufacturers and software providers in the automated data capture, mobility, and supply chain spaces. Because of our strong relationships, our clients have access to high-level resources at our partners’ organizations—from the executive teams to sales, engineers, and support.

We are pleased to share that Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) awarded our in-house marketing and design team two awards this year under the 2021 American Inhouse Design Awards competition. The designs that are award-winning consist of the Barcoding.com website launch and the National Barcode Day campaign. These projects were a series of collaborative efforts by various teams at Barcoding as well as many team members at Weidert Group, an inbound growth agency. We are so proud to call this a collective WIN!

GDUSA is a business-to-business resource for those in graphic design. This isn’t just a piece of paper. This award highlights the Barcoding in-house design team’s expertise as well as the value they bring to our organization. We are happy to be in the company of fellow recipients such as PepsiCo Design & Innovation, McCormick Packaging Design Team, and, our fellow Marylanders, T. Rowe Price.

Graphic design has allowed us to create a new and efficient website with HubSpot CMS and to design innovative campaigns that reach national news sites. We worked with the Weidert Group team on creating the new user-friendly barcoding.com as well as the National Barcode Day campaign for all of our customers, partners, and employees.

“It's a real honor to be part of these design awards earned by Barcoding, Inc. Their culture makes collaboration easy and makes it a real pleasure to serve as their marketing partner.”Greg Linnemanstons, President, Weidert

Our strategy for the new & improved website:

  • Streamlined backend foundation by using HubSpot CMS (all the data in one place for better nurturing, personalization, etc.)
  • Stronger design and branding to help people get to what they need quicker
  • Modern and improved partner directory to build relationships
  • Updated and streamlined the structure of the site (the navigation)
  • Powerful content and a new efficient & expansive resource directory
  • Deep diving on our approach and our customer's experience
  • Living breathing asset that will update every 90 days (with Weidert Group)

An award-winning design such as the Barcoding website proves that an efficient and accurate website is incredibly important for our customers, partners, and our employees, of course.

Similarly, with the National Barcode Day campaign, design is so valuable when creating a new campaign—NBD was shared within 8 different PR sites and shared on over 250 social posts. This campaign was shared by the most customers, partners, employees, and potential prospects than any other campaign we’ve done.

highlights for #NationalBarcodeDay:

  • We posted 163 social posts with over 38k impressions across all of our social channels. This is much higher than our average number of impressions (10k).
  • Our GIFs have had 3.8 million views in the last 30 days.
  • We raised $3,000 for ALAN (American Logistics Aid Network).
  • We gained over 100 followers.
  • Over 70 registrants for each of the Coming To You Lives (75% increase compared to other events)

Barcoding Lead Designer & Content Strategist, Krystal Cotriss, described the months-long process behind these award-winning designs. “Being a lead designer in the Barcoding website project is just one of the many pieces of the puzzle for our brand launch in 2019. When we launched the new brand, we only changed the logo file. It has been an honor for me to work on this project, I have learned so much about web design and the process of creating a new website and transitioning to a CMS site. Working with the Weidert team has been so great and I can’t wait to see what else Barcoding and team Weidert will create together!”

“The challenges of these projects really bonded us as a team and helped take the Barcoding marketing team to great new heights. We're very proud of our work and it can only get better.” —Iris Huang, Business Coordinator

Congratulations to everyone involved and to those on our in-house design team and the Weidert Group team, whose talent we see every day, for this recognition!
