Zebra’s NRF 2017 Booth Showcased Exciting New Offerings

The National Retail Federation (NRF)’s Retail Big Show for 2017 took place last week at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. More than 35,000 people attended the three-day event, learning from the 510 exhibits and 300 speakers that were part of the show.

Speakers included Ikea US President Lars Petersson, GameStop President Mike Mauler, and Target CIO Mike McNamara. Some of the biggest names in retail were on hand to make presentations, and the newest technology from several top providers was on display.

Global printing technology leader Zebra’s booth was a particularly popular stop, attracting thousands of visitors throughout the event. It was designed to resemble a retail sales floor, and this clever design served as the perfect backdrop to showcase their solutions and products for real-time visibility.

Barcode Scanners

Two barcode scanners stole the spotlight at the Zebra booth this year. The high-performance DS8100 garnered attention for its extensive scanning range and its ability to expertly capture even the most finicky barcodes to keep checkout lines from stalling. The DS2200 barcode scanner, meanwhile, was singled out for its easy deployment.

SmartSense for Retail

Another Zebra product that turned a lot of heads was SmartSense for Retail, which combines video and RFID with a micro-location ability that can track merchandise in real time. This can not only increase sales and boost loss prevention, but it also helps stores attain optimal levels of stock and enhance the customer experience.

Card Printers

Zebra’s high-fidelity ZXP Series 9 Card Printer is the perfect solution for companies that need to print loyalty cards, membership cards, or even personalized gift cards quickly and professionally.

Mobile Computers

The Zebra TC51 touch mobile computer, known for its durability, connectivity, power and security, was championed for its sleek design that is based on Android.

Zebra reports that the NRF show was a tremendous success for the company, and they are already looking forward to what next year’s event will bring.
