Zebra Technologies Wins Good Design Award®

Zebra Technologies recently won a prestigious Good Design Award for Design Excellence for their DS4800 scanner and TC55 mobile computer.

The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and Metropolitan Arts Press Ltd. Present the annual awards for the most innovative and cutting-edge industrial, product, and graphic designs around the world. Now in its 6th year, Good Design honored Zebra Technologies for their pursuit of extraordinary design excellence.

The DS4800 Series of 2D array imagers offers enterprise-class scanning capabilities in a modern, industrial design and is the industry’s first barcode scanner to include a capacitive trigger, allowing retailers to select scanning input modality.

The TC55 combines the traditional enterprise-class mobile computer with the functionality and form of a smartphone, running Android Jelly Bean, all while including integrated data capture capabilities and withstanding harsh industrial environments.

The innovative design of the DS4800 Series and TC55 reflect the unique capabilities offered by these solutions to capture and exchange business-critical information.
