VP Jody Costa Among Daily Record’s 2019 Leading Women

Written by Barcoding, Inc. | Oct 15, 2019

The Daily Record recently named our VP of Marketing, Jody Costa, as one of 2019’s Leading Women to recognize impactful and accomplished pioneers in the professional world and community. We are truly honored that Jody has been nominated for this award. She has inspired women throughout the supply chain industry and beyond, even taking the initiative to start a “Women in Supply Chain” event to foster a discussion around overcoming challenges in order to thrive in a male-dominated field.

Other women were also selected, based upon their brilliance within activism, education, mentoring, and/or volunteering. According to Suzanne Fischer-Huettner of The Daily Record, “This year’s Leading Women honorees are Maryland’s future. They are professionally successful at a young age and are also committed to making a difference and inspiring change.”

Jody Costa joined Barcoding, Inc. in 2010. Over the past nearly decade, she has advanced our organization with the creation of communication strategies, the management of business partnerships, and effective brand messaging. Costa plays a significant role and figure within Barcoding, Inc. and we are incredibly pleased that she has made this prestigious list.

“I’m honored to be recognized among so many exceptional women leading the way in business,” said Costa. “It’s a privilege to be able to lead a group as innovative and forward-thinking as my teammates at Barcoding, Inc.”

All of 2019’s Leading Women will be honored on December 2nd at a dinner and reception beginning at 5:30 p.m. Learn more about the event and see the full list of 2019’s Leading Women here.
