This video discusses the changes that are happening in the mobile market, including rugged handheld devices and legacy applications. Enterprise mobility has demonstrated improvements in service and efficiency, influencing many business aspects from accurate supply chains, to sales improvements, to improved customer loyalty. Leveraging mobile solutions can make a significant difference in operations, and so keeping them up-to-date is key.
Krebs notes that between 15 and 20 million rugged handheld devices are deployed. Many of them are running on outdated operating systems. As new platforms grow, the migration and modernization process will help businesses maintain the utility of these mobile device.
