Scan Barcodes and Capture Digital Images Like a Pro With the Vuquest 3320g
Honeywell’s new Vuquest 3320g was developed to meet the need for a compact area-imaging scanner that can handle 1D, 2D and PDF barcodes without slowing workers down. Its elegant design helps it look right at home in retail environments.
The device uses an intelligent multi-interface design, and it can scan barcodes straight from highly reflective surfaces like computer screens and mobile devices just as easily as if they were printed on paper thanks to its Adaptus Imaging Technology 6.0. In addition to its superior barcode scanning ability, it can also capture digital images with impressive accuracy and ease. Laser-free aiming, meanwhile, reduces the risk of eye injuries, and its unobtrusive illumination makes after-effects a thing of the past.
The licensing of the Vuquest 3320g was developed with flexibility in mind, allowing current needs to be easily met awhile leaving the door open for easy future upgrades. The device’s TotalFreedom 2.0 platform allows for the direct loading of decoding and formatting plug-ins into the scanner so that proprietary or new symbologies can be supported. It can also activate external devices like illumination, beepers or photo eyes.
Compact and Lightweight Form Factor
Honeywell managed to pack all of these capabilities into a small, light device that is ergonomic and easy to read. It measures 2.9 inches long, 2 inches wide and just 1 inch high, and it weighs only 2.7 ounces. Despite its light weight, it can handle drops of five feet. The thumb-activated button makes it very user-friendly,
It was designed to withstand operating temperatures from 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit, while it can be stored at temperature ranging from -4 to 158 degrees. Although it stands out as a handheld or wearable scanner, it’s equally at home using a fixed mount. All of these great features are backed up by a two-year factory warranty.
