QR Code Campaigns for Nonprofits
Nonprofits aren’t typically known for using cutting-edge technology, particularly in their marketing campaigns, but it’s time to change that stereotype. QR codes provide the ideal platform for integrating technology cheaply.
QR codes can be easily created for free by a QR code generator, and are ideal for location-based communications, such as fundraising campaigns. However, the best way to utilize QR codes is to create optimized pages for mobile use. Imagine scanning a non-profit’s QR code and being directed to an easy-to-use page with buttons such as “Donate Now,” or direct links to social media.
While creating a QR code campaign is free, creating a successful QR code campaign may take a little extra legwork in developing fully-optimized mobile sites. However, user experience is key to any successful campaign, so if non-profits want donors, then it’s going to be worthwhile to create mobile sites.
