Hello and welcome to another installment of our series, “Modern & Mobile Mondays!” Each week, we are sharing a new way to help your business stay connected and on-the-go. Today, we are featuring our partner Zebra Technologies. Learn more about our partnerships with Zebra here.

About Fleet Farm
Fleet Farm has been in operation since 1955 as a retail chain with 44 stores across the Midwest. Their locations supply customers with everything they need for the jobs and joys of daily life, including outdoor products, auto parts, home improvement goods and more. Fleet Farm has been a Barcoding, Inc. customer since 2018 and were named as our Innovator of the Year in 2019.

Their business has been expanding rapidly, adding four to five new locations each year, and so, they had outgrown their outdated inventory management system. Barcoding, Inc. collaborated with Zebra Technologies to find a perfect solution that allows them to be more efficient, accurate, and connected during this exciting time of growth.

Solution
Working together with the team at Zebra, we provided Fleet Farm with a hardware refresh. Zebra’s all-in-one solution consolidated their workflow. They were able to implement Android as the sole operating system for tablets, price check kiosks, and other endpoints across the business.

Results
Now, with their new system, Fleet Farm is more modern and mobile than ever, able to grow efficiently. Both employees and customers are able to be better connected, and they’ve formed a stronger a stronger partnership between store team members, corporate, and IT staff.
