Graduation Time: Congrats to Our Service Dog Suzie on Her Placement

Written by Jody Costa | Jan 14, 2022

You all may remember that we sponsored a service puppy through Susquehanna Service Dogs in Pennsylvania back in 2020. We named her Suzie and have been tracking her training ever since.

We're happy to report that it's now graduation time for our amazing pup Suzie!

Suzie has now been placed with her partner (along with two other graduating service dogs). Congratulations to all the newest teams! Suzie is now an in-home service dog, and her dog colleagues Toby and Linny are companion dogs.

Like all Susquehanna Service Dogs, Suzie and friends are off to assist children and adults with disabilities to lead the lives they want to live.

SSD Suzie has been trained to provide different levels of deep pressure for her partner while they’re at home. She will perform these tasks when her partner asks or when directed by her partner’s family. Suzie and her partner are a great match! Her partner is very interested in dog training using positive reinforcement, and Suzie loves to learn. They will continue to train and grow together!

Thank you to all the raisers and volunteers who helped to make these placements happen. It takes a community! #DogsChangeLives

Give SSD Suzie a follow on Instagram! Find her latest reel with many goofy highlights of Suzie being raised.

We are so proud of Suzie and wish her all the best with her new partner! Congrats Suzie, you make all of us at Barcoding proud!
