Future Proof the Supply Chain: Enterprise Mobility & the Supply Chain

Written by Barcoding, Inc. | Aug 12, 2020

It has never been clearer that we need to rely on our industry’s learning lessons to rapidly navigate the ever-changing landscape of the technology that supports the supply chain industry. We have faced challenging times before, but as as the world becomes more complex , the demands of our customers become bigger, and we are required to have better visibility into our processes.

In 2019, we embarked on a study to understand the opportunities that rugged mobile technology has afforded us and how industry leaders are navigating the various challenges of supporting a complex ecosystem of devices.

We took our team of experts on the road and met with #SupplyChainGeeks across the U.S. and Canada to have a conversation about the challenges and opportunities they face in adopting new technology, from the devices they chose to how they handle change management inside their organizations.

“We launched this research study to help our customers and others in the supply chain industry navigate disruption in their world. By using the example of Windows Mobile to Android migration, we have given organizations a way to think about future changes,” said Jody Costa, Barcoding, Inc. VP of Marketing.

We worked with experts from our partners Zebra Technologies, Ivanti Wavelink, and SOTI to facilitate the conversation and provide valuable advice, insights, and data to our attendees around this complex topic.
