The CK75 Handheld Computer from Honeywell is Rugged Yet Small
The new CK75 from Honeywell manages something that no other mobile computer in its class can claim: it is ultra-rugged while still being remarkably small and light. Optimized for warehouse and distribution and made of premium materials, it’s a flexible solution for a variety of applications.
The CK75 is an impressive 31 percent lighter and smaller than the other form factors found in its class, weighing in at just 20.6 ounces with battery and measuring 9.33 x 3.16 x 1.98 inches. Its remarkable durability enables it to be operated from temperatures as low as -4 degrees Fahrenheit up to 140 degrees. Its rain and dust resistance is rated IP67 with cold storage at IP65, and it can take a drop of up to 8 feet without missing a beat. With Corning Gorilla Glass in the display, breakage won’t be a concern.
Support for Popular Operating Systems
The CK75 supports popular operating systems like Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5, allowing for easy migration and flexible support for applications. It also boasts the fastest imaging engine in the industry to allow for a high degree of motion tolerance and superior barcode scanning performance.
Its adaptability is another feature that sets it apart, allowing workers to make the transition between tasks that call for far or near scanning, voice, speech or image capture without having to get reoriented. Customers can choose between voice-enabled or traditional workflows, and the dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n WLAN radio delivers quick response times in areas with intermittent connections or low signals.
A cold storage version has been designed for extended use in freezers, with heaters in the touch screen and scan window. This model has an extended operating temperature range, allowing it to function flawlessly even when temperatures hit -22 degrees Fahrenheit.
Long gone are the days when you have to choose between duty cycle and ruggedness; the CK75 handheld computer from Honeywell fits all these requirements and more.
