Chicagoland Tour de Cure 2021

Written by Jody Costa | Jul 30, 2021
Barcoding (including Barcoding-Canada and Versatile Mobile Systems) is proud to sponsor the Chicagoland Tour de Cure 2021 for the American Diabetes Association.

We have a robust team of volunteers who are biking, walking, running, rowing, and more. We are raising money to find a cure for the more than 34 million Americans living with diabetes and the 88 million Americans who are estimated to have prediabetes.

Captained by our VP of Sales Matt Cunningham, Team Barcoding is excited to participate in this year's Cure and invites YOU to join us too! Since it's virtual this year, all can participate in joining the team or donating.

Join us or Donate today!

By making a donation or joining our team, you will be helping the Association provide community-based education programs, protect the rights of people with diabetes, and fund critical research for a cure.

When we bring together dedicated team members and generous donors, the power we have as a group far outweighs what any of us could do alone.

We are determined to reach our team goal, one person at a time. Let's make a difference together!

Thank you!

We had great participation and turnout for the ADA Tour de Cure this year (involvement across teams at Barcoding, Inc., Barcoding-Canada, and VMS). Although we could not participate in person, the virtual training and tour on the 26th was a great testament to our mission of positively impacting our employees, customers, partners, and social communities.

Barcoding is proud to say we raised $9,200.00 on a goal of $6,500 with 18 participants (16 Thames Technology Holdings Employees, 1 customer, 1 former employee).

Team Barcoding hit 5,391.89 total miles for ADA. Overall ADA Tour de Cure had 92 participants, 17 Teams, and rode 31,763.47 total miles.

Thank you all for your participation and we look forward to riding again in 2022!
