Barcoding, Inc., the leader in supply chain efficiency, accuracy, and connectivity, today announced the availability of its updated research report on how businesses are future-proofing and digitalizing their supply chains.
Findings include strategic plans for future-proofing supply chain processes with upgraded technology and mobile user experience reviews.
In 2019-2020, Barcoding interviewed a diverse number of businesses across all industries and the roles within to talk about their digital strategies, concerns, and challenges when it came to upgrading their Windows Embedded Handheld to Android. In 2021, Barcoding revisited the same participants to compare data on how the pandemic has affected their overall strategies and how they are overcoming the new challenges brought on by COVID-19.
Overall, the report speaks directly to supply chain IT and operations leaders to show them how their peers implement new technology in the supply chain; specifically, how they are overcoming new challenges such as labor shortages, rising consumer demands, budget cutbacks, and more. As part of the study and to help companies prepare adequately, Barcoding included advice from top organizations.
The research methods centered around discovering pain points in implementing new technologies during the pandemic and how companies can create the most strategic value in leveraging new mobile technology. The new study also includes customer interviews and recommendations from Barcoding experts.
"Barcoding's goal has always been to support our customers with thoroughly researched, practical guidance that will have a measurable impact on their business," said Jody Costa, VP of Marketing. "We launched this research study to help our customers and others in the supply chain industry navigate disruption and develop stronger strategies for supporting frontline and mobile workers."
