| The Dolphin Mobile IntelliBase is a compact secure battery charger and holder for the Dolphin 7400 portable data terminal. Made for extreme environments the Mobile IntelliBase installs easily to the dashboard floor cab wall or pedestal 4-way. The adjustable mounting bracket allows the Mobile IntelliBase to be mounted to specific needs and the spring arm assembly holds the terminal securely in place. ----Using standard external Wireless Wide Area Network modems the Mobile IntelliBase can be used to transmit mission critical data between a Dolphin terminal and a central computer. Data can also be transmitted via popular network types such as CDPD GSM or other wireless mediums and third party peripherals such as portable printers. ----The Dolphin Mobile IntelliBase communicates to the handheld via infrared IrDA-complient signals that are converted to RS232 level serial communications as an external interface. |
