Digi ClassicBoard PCI (5V, 4-Port with Powered 5V Serial Ports RS-232)

The ClassicBoard Family provides an array of ISA- and PCI- based options to easily meet your serial expansion needs. The four- and eight-port EIA-232 models are available with a choice of DB-25, DB-9 or RJ-45 connectors. Four- and eight-port EIA-422 models are also available. The ClassicBoard Family is best suited to applications where the CPU is able to devote some of its resources to handling computations or to real time applications that require short latency intervals. This solution is ideal for connecting cash registers, print receipt devices, scanners and other peripheral devices in retail POS systems. ClassicBoard can also be used in applications using sensors, switches, measurement devices, factory automation, EDI, industrial control processing and data collection.
