Baltimore, MD – January 6, 2009 – Barcoding Inc. will be showcasing several cost saving solutions for customers at ProMat 2009 in Chicago including CaptureSoft eXpress and RFID products from CaptureTech including the Interpreter and Wedge.  These products are designed to allow customers to integrate RFID to their supply chain with minimal set-up as well design custom software applications on the fly.

CaptureSoft eXpress
CaptureSoft eXpress is a software development tool that allows non-programmers to easily design a data collection application in under five-minutes.  The web-based tool will perform many different data collection functions including:

• Signature Capture
• RFID data collection
• Barcode data collection
• Image Capture
• GPS

Additionally, CaptureSoft eXpress works with any ODBC compliant backend database including Excel and SML, and is compatible with Windows Mobile devices, including devices from Motorola, Intermec, and LXE.

RFID Solutions: Interpreter, Wedge, IGOR
The RFID Development team at Barcoding Inc. has been hard at work developing several RFID products to fill our various customers’ needs, most notably the ability to easily integrate RFID into existing applications.  To fill this need, the RFID Wedge & Interpreter were developed where they  are set-up like any other USB integrated device and,  once plugged in, you can begin reading RFID tags into any running application on your PC via a keyboard wedge input….they are truly  Plug & Play devices.  Some programming on the back-end may be required to set-up time delays and tag verification or other site-specific requirements.  The RFID Interpreter is an integrated system providing the PC interface, the processor, the reader and the antenna and this unit has solved several customers’ needs to integrate RFID to their supply chain.  The RFID Wedge is similar to the Interpreter except for it’s ability to employ an outside RFID reader.

The CaptureTech IGOR (Integrated GPS Optimized Reader), is an innovative and proven system for providing asset identity verification and location information in a single, ruggedized platform. This unit is designed for material handling equipment mounting for both indoor and outdoor use and is housed in a weatherproof and rugged enclosure.
