CaptureTech’s Integrated GPS Optimized Reader (IGOR) is an innovative and proven system for providing asset identity verification and location information in a single, ruggedized platform. This unit is designed for both indoor and outdoor use and is housed in a weatherproof and rugged enclosure.

In today’s business climate accurate and real-time asset and stock tracking is key to making timely management decisions. IGOR helps achieve near real-time visibility into product location and movement:

Identify products or assets and record their location without the need for direct human intervention
Improve the accuracy of the inventory count
Provide management with the inventory’s specific location within that supply
chain at any time
Allow inventory to be effectively diverted to meet customer demands and economic trends

IGOR identifies a product or asset based on its unique RFID tag, notes its location via GPS, determines the responsible party, and records optional sensor data. This data is them sent to a CaptureTech LIDO based system for processing.

IGOR integrates a high gain directional RFID antenna, high performance Gen2 RFID reader, a high sensitivity GPS unit and sensor interface that allows for easy installation and system integration. It provides a simple, USB data interface with options for ethernet, wireless, bluetooth or zigbee connections. IGOR may be integrated with most mobile computing platforms and it’s data structure and communications are LIDO based and optimized to achieve maximum performance when used in conjunction with CaptureTech’s LIDO RFID appliance.

IGOR may be vehicle, wall or pole mounted using its universal mounting bracket and powered by DC vehicle power, AC mains or POE.
