CaptureSoft™ Service Call - Release Notes

In July 2005, a new wireless version of Service Call for field automation was released. It offers several new features, which you will find described below:

Creation of Recurring Appointments
This feature enables the user to schedule a recurring appointment on a Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly basis. In addition, the user can assign a specific number of recurrences or identify start and end dates for the appointments. |

Deleted Appointments Displayed
Appointments deleted on the handheld are now reflected in Scheduler. These appointments can be distinguised by selecting a different color under the Options screen. |

Information Sorted
By default, the Customer Changes are now sorted by Updated By and Updated Date and Pending Invoices / Esimates are now sorted by Updated By and Service Date. In addition, clicking on a column header will now resort the list on any of the fields. |
| SERVICE CALL |

Appointments on the handheld are now always in chronological order. |

The Invoice Notes field is no longer grayed out. |
| AUTO INSTALL |

At the end of the installation, the Service Call Administrator will launch. Tap in the box found to the left of This Computer and then tap on Attach Database. When the database has been successfully attached, tap on the Copy Appointments From Previous Version bar. Next, verify that the first two boxes under Synchronization Options are checked and tap on Save.
When the Service Call Update Database window appears, check the Current Database Version against the New Database Version. If the two versions are the same, tap on Cancel. If they are different, tap on Tune-up Database and then tap on Update. |
