Count Calories with the Symbol/Motorola CS1504 Scanner

Training Peaks offers a service for the Symbol/Motorola CS1504 Scanner which allows consumers to keep track of their calories. With the Holidays and New Years Resolutions just around the corner, the Symbol/Motorola CS1504 could make a great gift for you or a health conscious friend.

How it Works
The Symbol/Motorola CS1504 is a compact barcode scanner that can easily fit on a keychain. All you have to do is point, click and scan the UPC of a food product and the information will be stored in the CS1504, which can hold up to 150 scans. The CS1504 then uploads all of your scanned information to a web-based account in order to provide a convenient analysis of calories for the health conscious.

What You’ll Need
In order to get started, you’ll first need to purchase a Symbol/Motorola CS1504. Although you cannot buy them directly from Training Peaks, you can acquire one through a vendor such as Barcoding Inc. You’ll then need to create an account with Training Peaks and get set up with their device agent software.

What You’ll Get
After you’re all set up, you’ll be able to point and click at up to 150 UPC’s, all of which the Training Peak’s database of up to 50,000 branded foods can analyze for nutritional content. With the Symbol/Motorola CS1505 and Training Peaks software, you’ll get a compact scanner that can help you achieve a more compact physique.
