The Zebra XiIIIPlus will stand the abuse and rigors of a dirty, dusty,
damp shop floor without any problems. With 4MB flash memory installed,
this printer can remember fonts, graphics, label styles, and designs

small enough to sit on a desk undetected by others.

Direct Thermal
Direct thermal printing is a technology first developed for use with fax
and copy machines. This type of printing uses chemically coated paper that
passes underneath a printhead. The printhead consists of a long, linear array
of tiny resistive heating elements that are arranged perpendicular to the
paper flow. When the paper passes under the printhead each heating element
locally heats a section of the paper causing it to turn black. The image
you see is a series of black dots united together to form a barcode, text,
or graphic.

Zebra 2800 Series
(Desktop Printer)
The Zebra 2800 series of desktop printers is ideal for handling printing
needs in a confined area. Small and discreet, the Zebra 2800 series
is an easy-to-use solution for desktop printing, as there are no ribbons
to be changed, only labels. Printheads on direct thermal printers are
more expensive than on their cousin, the thermal transfer, but that
cost is usually balanced out by not having to buy ribbons.

width: 4.09 (104mm)
speed: 4 (102mm) per second
